In drawer spice holder

In-Drawer Spice Holder

An in-drawer spice holder lays your jars flat or on a slant inside a kitchen drawer, so you see every label when you open it. Amazon sells three kinds: rigid trays that expand to the width of the drawer, a bamboo insert with several layers, and a foam liner that you cut to fit. They all depend on one number, the depth of your drawer. This guide compares six in-drawer spice holders from listings we opened, with the sizes, the jar counts and the drawer depth each listing asks for, and it shows where two figures on one listing do not match.

Quick answer

Measure the drawer depth first. SpaceAid asks for at least 3 in, MIUKAA says more than 4 in, and SAVVY & SORTED says 4 in or more. If your drawer is deeper, a rigid tray set gives the most organized layout. If your drawer is shallow or an odd size, the YouCopia foam liner has no depth requirement in its listing. If you want the jars in the box, KitHero is the only set here that includes them, but its listing has a size conflict you should resolve before ordering.

What the person typing “in drawer spice holder” wants

The reader wants spices in a drawer where they can read every label, not stacked in a cabinet. They need to know how wide the holder gets, how deep a drawer it needs, how many jars it holds, and whether jars come with it. The listings give some of this and not all, so we mark what is missing.

How we chose

We searched Amazon for in-drawer spice holders and opened six listings, each once, on 2026-10-18. We kept trays, inserts and liners that sit inside a drawer, and left out pull-out cabinet racks, wall racks and countertop towers. Every size, jar count and depth requirement comes from the listing text. Where two lines disagree, we show both. We did not test any of them. One of these, the SpaceAid, also appears in our bamboo spice holder guide, which compares bamboo racks by where they go.

1. MIUKAA Clear Spice Drawer Organizer, 4 Tier, 2 Set (acrylic)

MIUKAA Clear Spice Drawer Organizer, 4 Tier – 2 Set Acrylic Seasoning Rack

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Clear acrylic, 2 mm thick, polished. The set has two 4-tier inserts, 8 pieces in all. The bullet gives each piece as 13 in long, 4.5 in wide and 1.7 in high, and says the set expands from 13 to 26 in. It states that the set holds up to 56 jars of 4 oz, and that jars are not included. The listing says no tools are needed, and that the drawer should be deeper than 4 in. The spec field gives 2.4 pounds.

Conflict to check: the spec field gives 4.21 in deep, 12.99 in wide and 1.38 in high, while the bullet gives 4.5 in wide and 1.7 in high per piece. The listing does not explain the difference. Measure a drawer with the larger 4.5 in and 1.7 in figures in mind.

Best for: a drawer at least 4 in deep that is wider than 13 in, where you want a clear tray set for a large collection of jars.

Skip if: your drawer is 4 in deep or less.

3. YouCopia SpiceLiner Adjustable Drawer Liner (foam liner)

YouCopia SpiceLiner Adjustable Spice Drawer Liner, 10ft Roll, Sandstone

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): A foam liner on a roll, in sandstone. The size is 120 in long, 2.5 in wide and 0.4 in high, and the weight is 13.7 ounces. The listing says you cut the liner with scissors, using the measuring tape in the box, lay it in the drawer, and set the spice bottles on it with the labels facing up. It says this holds 30 or more bottles lying flat, needs no adhesive or mounting, and keeps bottles from sliding. The care line says hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, and not dishwasher safe.

What the listing does not state: any drawer depth requirement.

Best for: a shallow drawer where a rigid insert will not fit, or a drawer whose width is not standard.

Skip if: you want a rigid tray with tiers. A liner lays bottles flat in one layer.

4. Yieach 4 Pack Adjustable Narrow Spice Rack for Drawer (acrylic)

4 Pack Adjustable Narrow Spice Rack for Drawer – Expandable From 9 in to 17.7 in – Acrylic (Yieach)

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Clear acrylic, polished. Each piece is 9 in long, 4.7 in wide and 1.1 in high, and expands from 9 to 17.7 in. The listing says to expand or stack the pieces as needed, with no tools or installation, and that jars and labels are not included. The weight is 14 ounces for the set. The design is slanted so labels face up.

What the listing does not state: a jar count, and how deep the drawer must be.

Best for: a narrow drawer where a 13 in tray would not fit.

Skip if: you need to know the jar count before you buy, since the listing gives none.

5. SAVVY & SORTED Acrylic Spice Drawer Organizer, 4 PK (acrylic)

Acrylic Spice Drawer Organizer 4 PK, Expandable 13 in-26 in (SAVVY & SORTED)

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Clear acrylic, 2 mm thick. The set is four inserts that stack or sit side by side and expand from 13 to 26 in. The listing says a 4-tier set holds up to 36 standard 4 oz jars, and fits drawers 4 in deep or more. The bullet gives each insert as 13 in long, 4.5 in wide and 1.7 in high, and the spec field gives 4.72 in deep, 13 in wide and 2.56 in high. The weight is 1.28 pounds. Jars with labels are sold separately.

Conflict to check: the MIUKAA listing is a similar acrylic set and says 56 jars for its two 4-tier sets, while this listing says 36 jars for a 4-tier set. The counts come from different sets and different counting, and the listings do not show how. Use the count as a guide only. The spec-field and bullet sizes also differ here, as they do on the MIUKAA.

Best for: a drawer 4 in or deeper, if you want a modular set you can stack or spread.

Skip if: your drawer is less than 4 in deep.

6. KitHero Bamboo Spice Drawer Organizer with 28 Jars (set with jars)

Spice Drawer Organizer with 28 Spice Jars and 216 Labels, Non-slip Rubber, Bamboo 4 Tier (KitHero)

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Bamboo with glass jars that have aluminum lids. The set includes 28 jars and 216 labels, which makes it the only complete set on this list. The listing says the 4-tier rack fits drawers, cabinets or countertops and has built-in rubber components that prevent sliding.

Conflict to check: the title says 13 in wide and 15.8 in deep, while the spec field gives 2.75 in deep, 13 in wide and 15.8 in high. A 15.8 in length that is also called the height cannot both be right. The weight field says 4 ounces, which looks too low for a set with 28 jars. We state no weight and no depth for this listing.

What the listing does not state: the minimum drawer depth.

Best for: a shopper who wants the jars and labels in the box and has a drawer 13 in wide.

Skip if: you need the depth or height before you buy. Ask the seller or check the listing photos.

Rigid tray, tiered insert or foam liner

A rigid tray set (MIUKAA, Yieach, SAVVY & SORTED) expands side to side and stays put when the drawer opens. A tiered bamboo insert like the SpaceAid gives four layers, so it needs more depth. A foam liner like the YouCopia holds bottles lying flat in one layer, so it avoids the layers that a tiered insert needs. The listings count jars differently, so compare them by drawer fit rather than by the number on the page.

How to measure a drawer

Measure the inside width at the front and at the back, because some drawers narrow toward the back. Measure the inside length from front to back. Then measure the depth from the drawer floor to the top edge, and subtract any lip or runner. Compare the depth to the listing minimum: 3 in (SpaceAid), more than 4 in (MIUKAA) or 4 in or more (SAVVY & SORTED). Then measure your tallest jar lying flat or standing in a slanted tray.

Worked example

Say your drawer is 15 in wide, 20 in long and 3.5 in deep. These are made-up numbers.

  • SpaceAid: expands 12 to 23 in, so 15 in is inside the range, and 3.5 in clears the 3 in minimum. It fits.
  • MIUKAA: expands 13 to 26 in, so 15 in is inside the range, but it asks for more than 4 in of depth. At 3.5 in, it does not fit.
  • SAVVY & SORTED: the same, 13 to 26 in, but 4 in or more is needed. It does not fit.
  • Yieach: expands 9 to 17.7 in, so 15 in is inside the range. The listing gives no depth, so measure the pieces against the drawer.
  • YouCopia liner: no depth requirement stated, and you cut it to fit.

One measure, the depth, rules out two of the five rigid options. This is why to measure before you pick.

Conflicts we found in the listings

Three of the six listings have a line that does not match another line in the same listing. The MIUKAA and SAVVY & SORTED spec fields give a different size from their bullets. The KitHero title and spec field disagree about depth and height. We do not choose one value in these cases. If the size decides your purchase, check the listing photos and the seller’s answers, or measure the product after it arrives and return it if it does not fit.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Buying before you measure the depth. It is the number that most listings here depend on.
  • Assuming jars are included. Only the KitHero set says so.
  • Comparing jar counts across sets. The MIUKAA and SAVVY & SORTED counts are for different sets.
  • Using a rigid tray in a drawer that narrows toward the back.

Who should skip an in-drawer holder

Skip an in-drawer holder if your drawer is under 3 in deep. A pull-out cabinet rack or a wall rack may suit you better. Skip it too if you use tall spice bottles that will not lie flat, such as large shakers.

FAQ

How deep must a drawer be for a spice insert?

The listings differ: at least 3 in for the SpaceAid, more than 4 in for the MIUKAA, and 4 in or more for the SAVVY & SORTED. The YouCopia liner and the Yieach and KitHero listings do not state a depth.

Do these come with jars?

Only the KitHero set does: the listing says 28 jars and 216 labels. The SpaceAid, MIUKAA, Yieach and SAVVY & SORTED listings say jars are not included.

Can I fit these in a narrow drawer?

The Yieach pieces expand from 9 to 17.7 in, and the SpaceAid from 12 to 23 in. The YouCopia liner is cut to fit with scissors.

How many jars will a tray hold?

The MIUKAA listing says up to 56 jars of 4 oz for its two sets, the SAVVY & SORTED says up to 36 for a 4-tier set, and the SpaceAid says up to 48. These are listing figures for different set sizes.

Is a foam liner better than a tray?

It depends on the drawer. The YouCopia liner states no depth requirement and is cut to fit, but it lays bottles flat in one layer. A tray suits a deeper drawer and holds more jars in tiers.
