Best Wall Mount Spice Holders: Mounting, Size and Hardware

Best Wall Mount Spice Holders: Mounting, Size and Hardware

Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

A wall mount spice holder keeps jars off the counter and in view, whether it goes on a kitchen wall, a cabinet door or a pantry door. The person typing wall mount spice holder usually wants to know how the holder attaches, whether the screws or adhesive suit the surface, and how many jars it takes. This guide compares eight wall mount spice holders using only what each Amazon listing states. Several listings describe two ways to mount the same product, and some listings contradict their own sizes, so the table shows each figure as the listing gives it.

Quick answer

  • Mounting differs across the table. Some listings describe screws, some describe adhesive, and the Nieifi listing offers both. Check the mount method before you buy, because adhesive and screws suit different surfaces.
  • The IBUYKE 4-Tier listing gives the largest jar capacity in the table, saying each rack holds 80 four-ounce jars or 20 500 ml jars.
  • Only the GUUKAR listing (B0CPPT1VG8) names wall anchors among its included components. The others name screws, hooks or adhesive, or give no hardware list.
  • The LUCYCAZ listing gives two different sets of dimensions. We show both sets side by side.

Columns show only what the listing states. “Not stated” means the listing did not give that figure in its spec fields or bullets.

How we chose

The research file for this keyword holds 12 listings read on 2026-10-27. We kept eight, and the criteria were: the listing gives product dimensions, and it describes a spice holder that mounts to a wall, a cabinet door or a pantry door. Four listings were left out to keep the table to eight rows. The Umomi 4-Pack pantry door rack (B0DTHN71B9) describes two installation options, wall-mounted or hung on a door. The AURIKAR 4-Tier rack (B094ZT3QX6) describes a sturdy wire-mesh design for up to 8 small jars per tier. The second GUUKAR listing (B0CJHXNG14) carries the same title family and a different height from block 5. The Yvrlo 2-Pack black rack (B0GLP32K87) gives an adhesive or screw option in a bullet, which is also covered by block 2. We did not rank the eight holders.

The table shows dimensions as the listing gives them, including the LUCYCAZ conflict. We do not convert dimensions between listings.

What we could not verify

  • Load: none of the eight listings states a load for a full rack of jars. Where a listing gives an anchor, it gives no rating for it.
  • Adhesive: the adhesive options are described as suited to smooth, non-porous surfaces in one listing. The sources we opened do not cover adhesive performance on painted walls, tile or cabinet doors.
  • Jar fit: the listings give jar sizes or counts in some cases, but not for all eight. Where a count is given, we did not measure any jar.
  • Hardware: the included screws and anchors are named by count and type in some listings. The listings do not say which wall type each fixing suits.
  • Material: the listings say metal, iron, carbon steel, ABS, acrylic and wood, and they do not give a finish rating.

Wall fixing for a spice holder

The CPSC report we opened is about anchoring furniture and televisions to walls without tools. It does not address spice holders, and it does not discuss the jars they hold. We use only its points on wall fixing, because a wall-mounted holder is still fixed to a wall.

The report says what the usual fixing is for a piece that must be secured:

“a wood screw is usually provided and must be installed in a stud.”

It also explains how a drywall anchor behaves when pulled:

“Drywall anchors are strongest when pulled at an angle parallel to the wall (a shearing force).”

For a spice holder on a drywall wall, that means two things. Where a stud sits at the height of the holder, a screw into the stud is the stronger fixing. Where the holder must go into drywall, the fixing depends on the anchor, and the listings do not give a rating for theirs. The GUUKAR listing names wall anchors, so it is the one that states an anchor in its box. For any holder that depends on adhesive, the report says nothing, and the listing’s own surface note applies.

A cabinet door or a pantry door is a different surface. The listings describe those installations, but the sources we opened do not cover them, so we make no claim about door fixings beyond what each listing states.

Buying checklist

  • Choose the mount first: screws, adhesive or cabinet door. The listing’s mount field and bullets should agree.
  • Check the wall or door surface against the adhesive note. The Nieifi listing limits adhesive to smooth, non-porous surfaces.
  • Count the jars you own and compare with the listing’s figure. The IBUYKE listing counts 80 four-ounce jars per rack.
  • Check the hardware in the box. Only the GUUKAR listing states wall anchors.
  • Measure the depth. Most holders in the table list depths from 2.36 to 5.4 inches, while the IBUYKE listing gives 17.13 inches.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Using adhesive on a painted or textured wall. The Nieifi bullet limits its adhesive to smooth, non-porous surfaces.
  • Trusting one size. The LUCYCAZ listing gives 12 by 3 by 6 inches in the spec field and 2.36 by 2.75 by 12 inches in a bullet.
  • Assuming a holder comes with anchors. Only the GUUKAR listing names wall anchors. Most of the rest name screws, hooks or adhesive instead, and one gives no hardware list.
  • Loading a shallow holder with tall jars. Most holders in the table are 2.36 to 5.4 inches deep, and the listings do not state a jar height limit.
  • Skipping the stud check. The CPSC report says a wood screw must go into a stud, so check the wall before you drill.

Internal guides for the next question

If you are choosing a spice holder for a kitchen wall, 3-tier spice shelves covers a similar design, and shelf ideas for a small kitchen looks at the same question in a wider plan. For a shelf over a counter, a white kitchen with floating shelves shows mounting choices in a room plan. For a holder on a cabinet door, slide-out under-sink organizers is the nearby option for storage below the counter. For a pantry wall, pantry and under-stairs storage solutions is the wider read. For the weight question on any wall shelf, see how floating shelves hold weight. For a small wall run that is not in the kitchen, small wall shelves for the living room covers the same mounting trade-offs, and under-sink organizers for a kitchen covers storage below the counter.

FAQ

Do wall mount spice holders need screws or adhesive?

Both appear in this set. The Nieifi listing includes adhesive strips and screws, and it limits adhesive to smooth, non-porous surfaces. Choose the method that suits your wall or door.

How many jars does a wall mount spice holder hold?

The IBUYKE listing says each rack holds 80 four-ounce jars or 20 500 ml jars. Other listings give a jar count or size in some bullets, and some give none. Count the jars you own before you buy.

Do spice holders need to go into a stud?

The CPSC report says a wood screw is usually provided and must be installed in a stud. Where a stud sits at the holder’s height, use it. Where the holder must go into drywall, the fixing depends on the anchor, and the listings do not rate theirs.

Can I mount a spice holder on a cabinet door?

Several listings describe a cabinet or pantry door installation. The sources we opened do not cover door fixings, so follow the listing’s instructions and check the door’s thickness and material first.

Which holder includes wall anchors?

The GUUKAR cabinet-door listing (B0CPPT1VG8) names screws and wall anchors among its included components. Other listings name screws, hooks or adhesive, or give no hardware list.

Why do the LUCYCAZ dimensions disagree?

The spec field gives 12 by 3 by 6 inches, and a bullet gives 2.36 by 2.75 by 12 inches. The listing does not explain the difference, so measure the holder you receive.

Bottom line

For a wall mount spice holder, decide the mount first, screws or adhesive, then check the surface, then count your jars. If the holder goes into drywall, use a stud where one sits at the holder’s height, and do not treat any anchor’s fit as a rated load.
