Rotating Spice Holder
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Details
A rotating spice holder turns on a base so you can reach each jar without moving the others. Two kinds show up on Amazon: a tower that holds spice jars in a ring, and a lazy Susan turntable that carries loose jars or bottles on flat trays. They solve the same problem, but they ask for different things from your counter or cabinet. This guide compares six rotating holders from Amazon listings we opened: three towers and three two-tier turntables. For each one it gives the size, the jar count, what is in the box, and any limit the listing states. It also shows where two listings disagree, so you can measure your own space and choose with the numbers in front of you.
Quick answer
If you want a ready set, the Kamenstein 20-jar tower comes with the jars and the spices in them, and the listing states its size. If you want to pick your own jars, the Tianifa 20-jar tower and the Kylinbigda 12-jar tower come empty. For a cabinet shelf, the three 2-tier turntables (LAMU, YATINEY, LANDNEOO) take any jar that fits the tier height. Only one listing here states a weight limit, so do not load a turntable with heavy bottles unless the listing gives a number.
What the person typing “rotating spice holder” wants
The reader wants spices within reach without digging, and needs to know three things before buying: how much space the holder takes, how many jars it holds, and whether the jars are in the box. This guide gives the sizes and counts as the listings state them. It makes no claim about spice freshness or food safety, because no listing we read gave a source for one.
How we chose
We searched Amazon for rotating spice holders and opened six listings, each once, on 2026-10-18. We also opened one near-twin Tianifa listing to compare it with the first. We kept holders that turn 360 degrees and hold spice jars or similar small bottles. We left out any listing that was only a plain tray with no rotation. Every size, count and capacity below comes from the listing text. Where two listings disagree, we show both. We did not test any of them.

1. Kamenstein 20 Jar Revolving Countertop Spice Rack (tower with spices)
Kamenstein 20 Jar Revolving Countertop Spice Rack with Spices Included, Polished Stainless Steel with Black Caps
Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): The listing gives the size as 8.5 in deep, 8.5 in wide and 13.5 in high, and the item weight as 8.69 pounds. The rack is polished stainless steel. The set has 20 prefilled glass jars with removable sifter caps and labeled black caps, so the spices are in the box. The listing says the rack suits a countertop or the inside of a cabinet, and that the buyer is eligible for five years of free spice refills (the listing sends you to the packaging for terms). Care text in the description says to wipe the frame with a damp cloth and not to submerge it.
What the listing does not state: a weight limit for the rack, and the full list of included spices (the sentence is cut off in the text we read).
Best for: a cook who wants a tower with the jars and spices already in it, on a counter with 8.5 in of floor space and 13.5 in of height.
Skip if: you already own matching jars, or you want to choose your own spices from the start.

2. Tianifa 20-Jar Revolving Spice Rack (tower, empty jars)
Tianifa Black Countertop Revolving Spice Rack, Empty 20-Jars Rotating Spice Rack Organizer, 135 Spice Labels with Funnel
Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Black stainless steel rack with glass jars, 7.3 in deep, 7.3 in wide and 13.4 in high, listed at 5.94 pounds. The set has 20 glass jars with no spices in them, a small funnel and 135 labels. The listing says the unit turns 360 degrees and is 13.4 in high with the jars on it. It calls the glass lead-free; that is the seller’s wording and we did not check it.
Conflict to check: a second Tianifa listing (B0BVQW846H, opened the same day) uses the same title, the same 7.3 x 7.3 x 13.4 in size and the same 20 glass jars, but lists the weight as 6.03 pounds and the material as glass, plastic and stainless steel. This listing lists glass and stainless steel at 5.94 pounds. We do not pick one. If the material matters to you, check the listing you are actually buying from.
What the listing does not state: a weight limit, and which spices the 135 labels cover.
Best for: a cook who wants a taller 20-jar tower in a narrower footprint than the Kamenstein, and who will fill the jars.
Skip if: you want spices included, or you have under 13.4 in of height under a shelf.

Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Black stainless steel, 6 in deep, 6 in wide and 10.6 in high, listed at 2.2 pounds. The caps have three discharge port sizes, and the jar mouth is stated as 3.2 cm across, which the listing says makes filling easier. The listing says it is made to fit narrow spaces.
What the listing does not state: the jar volume in ounces or milliliters, and a weight limit for the rack.
Best for: a small counter or a shelf where 6 in of floor space is all you have.
Skip if: you use more than about a dozen spices, or you want tall bottles to fit.

4. LAMU 2 Tier Lazy Susan Turntable (cabinet turntable)
LAMU 2 Tier Lazy Susan Turntable Organizer Spice Rack for Cabinet 9.25 inch
Specs (from the listing, checked 2026-10-18): Clear plastic. The spec field gives a 9.25 in diameter and 15.8 ounces; one bullet gives the height as 7.7 in. The listing states a maximum weight recommendation of 33 pounds. Two tiers are joined by metal rods, the bearings let it turn 360 degrees, and the edge is raised 1 in to keep items from sliding off. The listing says no tools are needed for assembly, and that buying two sets lets you stack them into three tiers.
What the listing does not state: whether the 33 pound figure is per tier or for the whole unit.
Best for: a narrow cabinet or pantry shelf where you want to turn the whole shelf rather than a tower.
Skip if: you need a lid or sides on the jars. This is an open tray, not a closed rack.

Tower or turntable: which one to buy
A tower puts the jars in a ring around a center post. It needs floor space of about 6 to 8.5 in square on the three towers here, and 10.6 to 13.5 in of height. A turntable is a flat disc or two. It takes up about 9.25 to 10.2 in of width and 7.7 in or so of height for the two-tier units, and it turns whatever you put on it.
The tower holds its own jars in place. A turntable holds whatever you set on it, so the raised edge matters. LAMU and LANDNEOO both state a 1 inch raised edge, and YATINEY states a fence on each layer.
How to measure before you buy
For a counter spot, measure the width and depth, and the gap under the upper cabinet. The tallest tower here (Kamenstein, 13.5 in) needs that gap to be at least 13.5 in, and you need extra room to lift a jar out.
For a cabinet, measure the shelf height and the door opening. A turntable that is 9.25 in across needs a shelf at least that deep, and the door has to clear it as it turns. Then measure your tallest jar with the lid on, and compare it to the tier gap: 6.2 in for the first tier of the LANDNEOO and 7.5 in between the YATINEY layers.
Worked example
Say your upper cabinet shelf is 12 in high and 11 in deep, and your tallest jar is 4 in with the lid on. These are made-up numbers for the example.
- LAMU: 7.7 in high and 9.25 in across. It fits under a 12 in shelf with 4.3 in left over, and it fits an 11 in depth.
- LANDNEOO: the first tier is stated to hold items up to 6.2 in high, so a 4 in jar fits. The overall height is 7.9 in.
- YATINEY: 7.5 in between layers, so a 4 in jar fits. The 10.2 in diameter fits an 11 in depth by less than an inch, so check the door swing.
- Kamenstein tower: 13.5 in high. It does not fit a 12 in shelf.
The point is to check height first. A good holder in the wrong height does not go in.
Mistakes to avoid
- Assuming a tower comes with spices. Only the Kamenstein listing says so; the Tianifa and Kylinbigda listings say the jars are empty.
- Loading a turntable with heavy bottles when the listing gives no weight limit. Only LAMU states one (33 pounds).
- Reading two near-identical listings as the same product. The two Tianifa listings differ on weight and material.
- Forgetting the door swing in a cabinet. A round turntable needs the door to clear it.
Who should skip a rotating holder
Skip a rotating holder if you have a narrow drawer, a slim wall space, or a cabinet with a low shelf. A drawer insert or a wall rack may serve better there. Skip the towers if you have fewer than a dozen spices, since a small rack is easier to place.
FAQ
Do rotating spice racks come with spices?
Only the Kamenstein listing here says so; it lists 20 prefilled jars. The Tianifa and Kylinbigda listings say the jars are empty, and the turntables hold no jars at all.
How many jars do these hold?
The Kamenstein and both Tianifa towers hold 20 jars each per the listings, and the Kylinbigda holds 12. The turntables do not state a jar count, so it depends on your jar size.
What size cabinet shelf do I need for a 2-tier lazy Susan?
The LAMU is listed at 9.25 in across and 7.7 in high, the LANDNEOO at 9.25 in across and 7.9 in high, and the YATINEY at 10.2 in across. Measure your shelf depth, height and door swing before buying.
Is there a weight limit?
Only the LAMU listing states one: a maximum weight recommendation of 33 pounds. The other listings we read did not state a limit, so we do not give one.
Can I stack two lazy Susans?
The LAMU and LANDNEOO listings both say two sets can be stacked into a 3-tier unit. We did not test this, so follow the listing instructions.
